Giveaway #10 – OXO bowl and tongs

OXO, the people who make lovely posh kitchen kit, not the stock cube people, have asked me if readers might like a giveaway. Well obviously I bit their hands off. Here’s what’s up for grabs:

I have 4 OXO stainless steel mixing bowls, they’re not just any old bowl you know, these have a non-skid base that makes them extra sturdy and resistant to slipping, even when surfaces are wet. Perfect for chilling and marinating, it has a brushed stainless steel interior that retains temperature and a white plastic exterior that shields your mitts from extreme temperatures. They’re 2.8L in size, so perfect for use with electric mixers. Dishwasher safe too for those of you lucky enough to have one.

Also available are 10 OXO Good Grips 12” tongs with brushed stainless steel and soft, non-slip handles with comfortable thumb rests. They’re easy to lock so they store easily in the closed position. Perfect for those of us with not so much space in the kitchen.

Here’s how I’m going to do it… there will be 4 first prizes of both the bowl and the tongs and 6 runners up who just get the tongs. First prize worth £25.55 and second prize worth £11.25.

  • There are 4 first prizes worth £25.55 and 6 second prizes worth £11.25.  There’s no cash alternative to the prize and the prize is not transferable. No part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
  • Instructions form part of the terms and conditions. Entries using any software or automated process to make bulk entries will obviously be disqualified. The winner will be picked at random using software and then contacted by email. If you win and then don’t respond to this email within 7 days then another winner will be picked so check your emails and your spam! The goodies will be delivered to the winner as soon as possible after you have sent me your delivery address.
  • I am running this giveaway on behalf of OXO UK who will be responsible for sending the prize to you if you win, which is very kind of them as it saves me queuing up at the Post Office. Their decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. So there.

  309. That’s beautiful and would be so useful.  Sometimes when hubby makes bread, he hogs the mixing bowl. I then have to make cake in a pyrex dish – it just isn’t big enough!!!

  395. The non-skid base sounds great as I struggle to keep hold of my mixing bowl.  Stainless steel is fab for not being tainted by strong food odours and colours which is a fab bonus.
