Now I don’t know about you but I have never really trusted non stick bakeware. It’s let me down a few times so I was rather excited to be offered some new non stick tins to try out.
The Great British Bakeware range has been developed by George Wilkinson using something called a GlideX coating. I guess the marketing people knew what they were doing when they named this special coating as food quite literally slides off it. So no sticking or heavy duty scrubbing – just rinse and hand wash. It’s scratch and flake resistant, in fact the GlideX coating is described by the makers as ‘virtually indestructible’! So great for people who like to bake rather a lot. (Who, me?!)
They make all manner of bakeware with this amazing coating, from roasting trays to pizza trays, spring forms tins (which have my seal of approval) to pie plates. Built to last and made in the UK, I have 5 of their muffin trays to giveaway worth £15 each!
