Giveaway #18 – Wilkinson baking goodies

I was a bit obsessed with Wilkinsons when I was a teenager. My bus stop was right outside it so I’d spend hours pondering which crockery set I’d choose when I was a grown up and I left home and could be free of adults and college and being told off for wearing cardigans with holes in and all those other boring things. My sons even like Wilkos now. Good wide aisles for racing in, a selection of toys and an excellent sweet aisle. Recently their bakeware range has been extended so I have some lovely packs to giveaway. Each pack is worth about £10 and includes the lovely cutters in the pic (which myself and my sons enjoyed making biscuits with, both real and play doh ones), some silicon muffin cases, an icing set with a few nozzles, a whisk and a cupcake topper. I have two packs to giveaway!

Rules and things:

  • There are 2 baking packs available as prizes worth about £10 each.  There’s no cash alternative to the prize and the prize is not transferable. No part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
  • Instructions form part of the terms and conditions. Entries using any software or automated process to make bulk entries will obviously be disqualified. The winner will be picked at random using software and then contacted by email. If you win and then don’t respond to this email within 7 days then another winner will be picked so check your emails and your spam! The goodies will be delivered to the winner as soon as possible after you have sent me your delivery address.
  • I am running this giveaway on behalf of Wilkinsons who will be responsible for sending the prize to you if you win, which is very kind of them as it saves me queuing up at the Post Office. Their decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. So there.

  149. Since I developed my baking obsession, there are a few websites and shops I can spend ages in. When I was a child, I could spend ages looking at pens and stationery (geek). now it’s baking equipment! Wilkos is fab for it!

  161. Wilkinsons was my Mum’s favourite store. I still use my Mum’s old potato peeler brought from Wilkinsons. Great quality and so effective.

  165. Such a fab prize! I think every parent should get their children in the kitchen learning how to cook as soon as they can. My girls are 11 and 9 and absolutely love helping me cook dinner. Just can’t seem to get them that enthusiastic about washing up :(

  168. I’ve just discovered Wilkinsons after popping in there for the first time in years for an ironing board cover. They have some beautiful crockery at the moment, heart shaped bowls that would look just as perfect on my window sill with tealights in them as they will on my dinner table.

  204. that so funny about pondering about which crockery sets you would chose when older. I used to spend hours looking through the Argos catalogue when i was young and deciding one item from each page i would buy if i was a millionnaire.

  228. What a lovely prize> I often forget about Wilkinsons because the store is a bit out of the way from the main shops my local town centre.

  238. The Wilko’s in Leicester centre is great! Always go in for just one thing and end up having to get a basket :s

  244. Wilko’s is brilliant for all sorts of baking equipment, I love going in there and never come out empty handed!

  247. I can never have enough baking stuff like this. I’d use the cutters for pastry shapes as well as biscuits – useful for decorating a pie!
