I’m pretty excited about this as it’s my first blog hop. It’s for Organix, as I am one of the hosts of their #NoJunk challenge – a week where parents pledge to say no to junk and yes to simple ingredients.
The prize for the winner is fantastic… £108 worth of Bamford Organic Signature Collection spa goodies including Geranium Bath Oil (RRP £40), Geranium Hand and Body Was (RRP £22), Geranium Pebble Soap (RRP £16) and a Rosemary, Geranium and Sicilian Lemon Candle (RRP £30), plus there are runner up prizes for 2nd and 3rd place of their very own edible Organix treats RRP £25.
All you need to do is post a recipe on your blog:
- That contains #NoJunk (check out the Organix #NoJunk challenge here to see what I mean – this isn’t about not including sugar, but it is about not including things you don’t know how to pronounce or spell, never mind where they came from!)
- That’s suitable for the whole family to eat – so maybe not those very boozy Limoncello profiteroles you are partial to! It needs to appeal to both the younger and older members of the family.
- That’s simple and easy – the kind of recipe that appeals to parents – so it doesn’t take ages to make or indeed hours to source the ingredients.
It really is that easy – just mention in the blog post that you’re entering the recipe into the Organix #NoJunk Challenge Blog Hop, sign up to the challenge here and include this badge on your blog post:
(Right click to ‘save image as’ to your desktop)
And do include (and tweet/pop on facebook/instragram) any pics of little chefs helping with the making. The twitter handle for Organix is @organixbrands, their facebook page is here and on instgram they’re @OrganixFood
Lastly you need to enter it in the linky tool below so that we can see your entry and also so that other people who enter can visit your blog and take a look. Really very easy. The blog hop closes on 17th May 2014 after which Organix will chose a winner. Good luck!

Hi Holly – I just linked my #NOJUNK Chocolate Bean Cake to enter the Organix blog hop.
Idiotically, used my pic and Organix caption instead of pic of cake and its title!!!
If there is a way to change that, let me know otherwise…so be it!
Excellent! I don’t think I can change it but worry not. Each entry will be judged on merit and not on the pic! xx
Jolly good! Thanks for letting me know! I hope it is fun and not too arduous judging so many fabbo recipes.
Great blog hop! I have just linked up my family friendly chilli enchiladas x
Just added mine. Very simple, very tasty and suitable from 6 months through to adult :-) http://www.theparentsocial.com/fuss-free-food-for-children/
Brilliant – thanks so much. x
Salmon is great for little ones, so good for them. I love the fact that I can also use the cold leftover salmon the next day for another meal. Prawns are also brilliant and the children love them. You can actually give prawns from 6 months. I was a bit nervous about that with my first LO, but I had my twins chomping on prawns almost as soon as I began weaning!!
Loving the recipes so far and I’ve just posted my favourite turkey meatball recipe that is great for all the family (it’s come up as my name for some reason, apologies, please feel free to edit if you are able to!)
Thanks Julia – I look forward to reading it! Loving how many great recipes are being posted. Could get very into this blog hop thingy! x
Hi Holly – I’ve blog hopped on board with my no junk Raspberry Flapjacks! :)
Hurrah! Thanks for joining in. They sound delicious! x
Hi Holly – thanks for this! I am concocting such a recipe!
Great! The more the merrier! Can’t wait to see them all. x
