Forgive me the title. I just like the idea of all my recipes lining up in a model like fashion, about to strut their stuff on the catwalk. (Sorry, runway these days I think).
Anyway, it seemed like a good idea to post up all my Easter recipes in one place. Then you can easily access them. Here goes:
Easter biscuit baking kits are a great little fundraiser. Find the recipe here.
Chocolate chip hot cross teacakes and a little different from the usual hot cross buns. They’re flatter and chocolatier and well, just divine. Get the recipe here.
Or try these white chocolate and cranberry hot cross buns instead. The tartness of the cranberry is the perfect foil to the overly sweet white chocolate. Recipe here.
A no bake Cadbury creme egg cheesecake you say? Oh go on then. Get it here.
This is a fun one for an Easter Sunday pudding. White chocolate mousse carefully spooned into chocolate eggs and then topped with lemon curd. Recipe here.
Standard Easter fodder here – chocolate nests of course! But with cute little biscuit chicks nestling. Recipe here.
More traditional Easter nests – simple and comforting. Recipe (if you can call it that) here.
This trifle is a labour of love. Lemon and raspberry flavours with homemade everything – you can of course replace any of the layers with a bought version. Recipe here.
Ever so slightly chocolate flapjack with a chocolate layer and creme eggs to top it off. Recipe here.
And this beauty is a Cadbury creme egg mess. Think Eton mess but without any fruit in sight. Recipe here.
This is my Easter Apostles scone loaf – this is a great one to make with kids and has all the flavours of hot cross buns without the proving time. Recipe here.
If a whole Simnel cake feels like a step too far, try these mini Simnel cupcakes. You could top them with tiny mini eggs instead if you prefer. Recipe here.
Orange spiced Easter fudge studded with dried fruit and made without the need for a sugar thermometer. Recipe here.
And these, these I love. Hot cross biscotti, for when making sweet dough is a step too far. Recipe here.
So that’s it for now. We are having lamb and chicken and sausages (for the sausage mad youngsters amongst us) on Easter Sunday followed by trifle. Very much looking forward to it. And an egg, obviously. It wouldn’t be Easter otherwise.
